John Krasinski, who plays the sweet and sarcastic role of Jim Halpert in 'The Office,' has been vocal about his interest in returning to the Scranton set.
“I would totally be interested!” Krasinski said when asked about the possibility of a revival at TheWrap’s SXSW interview studio. “I still have yet to get a call. I am surprised that after ‘Ellen’ and all that—I haven’t gotten a call, so I haven’t heard anything about it, other than on the internet—the internet is making the show. Twitter is shooting ‘The Office’ reboot. I don’t know if any of us are going to be a part of it!”
As one of the most popular TV shows in recent history and a 5-time Primetime Emmy Award winner, 'The Office' was a beloved NBC hit. The show ran for nine seasons. However, online audiences have made it clear there is room in their hearts for even more.
While there is plenty of rumors circulating online about the possible return cast and plot, NBC has yet to announce any finalization.
