>didir="ltr">‘Geordie Shore’ favourite Marnie Simpson has hit back at comments that she’s gained weight. Marnie took to Twitter to respond to a tweet from The Sun. “Marnie Simpson accused of putting on two stone so she can ‘bag big money fitness deal’”, The Sun tweeted, which Marnie didn’t take too kindly to. “I’m not doing a fitness dvd”, Marnie wrote, “I’m not even fat, Jesus if a size 12 now qualifies for a fitness dvd then we’re all f*****”. She went on to say “I’ve gained a little bit of weight of filming Geordie shore please give me a break”.

Simpson was recently papped aboard a yacht in Ayia Napa, Cyprus. Tabloids were quick to comment on her smoking and apparently larger build. Filming for ‘Geordie Shore’ took place in February earlier this year. The upcoming series will take place in Australia instead of Newcastle. Controversial star Holly Hagan will return to the series, which has yet to receive a release date.
