Professional wrestler-turned-actor John Cena took to Twitter to share a message after his public breakup with fellow wrestler and model Nikki Bella.

Cena wrote, "Hardship, loss, and humility are extremely difficult waters to navigate, but perseverance thru them builds a strength to withstand anything life throws your way."

The couple recently released a statement about their breakup saying, "after much contemplation and six years of being together, Nikki Bella and John Cena announced today their decision to separate as a couple. While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives."

Though the inspirational message does not mention Bella by name, his words of encouragement show that even during a turbulent time, Cena has found positivity.
