CELEBRITY James comey

After James Comey's dismissal from the FBI last year, he went to work writing his newly released autobiography, 'A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership.'

Rosemary Barton, a Canadian political journalist who is currently the Parliament Hill correspondent for CBC News, was quick to tear through the book on the day of its release, but she was surprised at what she found.

Barton tweeted a photo of the first chapter, called "The Life," which featured a quote from none other than Canadian singer-songwriter Jann Arden. The quote is one that has been used widely in popular culture: "To not think of dying, is to not think of living." Barton wrote in her tweet, "Hey [Jann Arden] you appear to have made it into James Comey's book. So that's a thing that happened."

Arden tweeted back another simple, yet deeply profound phrase that Comey may well use in his next book: "The world's gone mad..."

The book was originally set to be released on May 1 of this year, but it was moved up to April 17 because of the scrutiny faced by the FBI. During its pre-sale, it had already reached No.1 on Amazon's list of best-sellers.
