From plain to posh: The evolution of Met Gala style through the years - The Met Gala, formerly the Costume Institute Gala, is one of the most popular see or be seen events of the year. With all of the biggest names in attendance, everyone gets together to "ooh" and "ahh" at the creativity involved in each persons' attire. However the Met Gala hasn't always looked like it does today, and the fashion has been getting bigger and better throughout the years. This year, the theme is one of the most controversial yet: 'Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.' Everyone is looking forward to seeing what the stars and designers come up with this year.
