Jane Danson has pulled her fans’ heartstrings with a throwback pic. Danson, who plays Leanne Battersby in ‘Coronation Street’, tweeted an adorable photo with husband Robert Beck.

“19 years ago today was the very first [British Soap Awards] and i met the love of my life”, Danson wrote, “and they said it wouldn't last -ha!”. In the vintage black and white snap the happy couple smile as they look into each other's eyes.

Jane and Robert make up a true soap opera love story. As we know, they met at the British Soap Awards in 2001. Leanna was the star of ‘Corrie’, while Robert acted in ‘Emmerdale’. The couple married in 2005, and have two sons, Harry and Sam. Robert joined Jane on ‘Coronation Street’ from 2008 to 2009, playing the sly Jimmy Dockerson.
