Hugh Jackman's charitable coffee company, Laughing Man, is helping build homes for families in need. The actor first became a coffee producer in 2011, after meeting a farmer named Dukale in Ethiopia.
"I worked with him for the day, and I really wanted to make a difference and help him and get his story out there, and I made a promise to him that I would do whatever I could," Jackman told NowThis.
After providing half of the costs to create the fair trade coffee company, he donates all of his proceeds back to the company, thereby fulfilling his promise to Dukale. Last year, Laughing Man helped create better irrigation systems and make housing improvements all over the world.
Laughing Man has expanded exponentially since its initial launch. The company has recently debuted a new logo, marketing campaign, and signature items.
