Pete Doherty has warned his fans of malicious scammers. The singer shared a statement on Twitter. “We’ve been made aware of a recent scam using Peter’s name across a variety of websites”, the statement says. “All of his official accounts have been verified with a [symbol] next to the username, any other account isn’t official”. The statement also clarified that “neither Peter of his team will contact you via any other account & would not ask for payment of any kind”. Doherty signed off by saying “please keep your info safe!”.

Earlier this year, The Libertines revealed plans for a new hotel. The band reportedly bought a townhouse in Margate, which they intend to turn into a unique hotel. “We’re gonna open a Libertines hotel. With a studio, nightclub, a bar,” the band stated, adding that it would be “open to anyone who’ll pay the bills”.
