It doesn't seem like Meghan Markle, who recently married into the British royal family to become the Duchess of Sussex, has much to be jealous of as her ex-husband announced his engagement. Markle married TV and film producer Trevor Engelson in 2011, but they split up after two years together.
Just two weeks after the royal wedding, Engelson announced his engagement to health expert, Tracey Kurland, according to TMZ. A friend of the couple took to social media to share a photo of the happy couple.
A source close to Markle and Engelson revealed to Women's Day that "Trevor and Meghan's marriage broke down when she moved to Toronto, where 'Suits' is filmed, and it was the long distance that tore them apart."
Though Engleson and Kurland's union may not be as big of an international event as the royal wedding was, the newly engaged couple is busy planning their special day. Official dates have yet to be announced.
