Carol Vorderman remembers Kate Spade, opens up about own health

Carol Vorderman has shared a heartfelt tribute to Kate Spade. The presenter took to Twitter to pay tribute. “Such sad news”, she wrote. “I don't know the circumstances for Kate Spade BUT many women in their 50s go through similar feelings”. Vorderman opened up about her own struggle with hormonal imbalance. “I did... it was diagnosed correctly as hormonal imbalance and I was "cured" with bio identical gels within 48 hours.. never a similar thought since”. She signed off by hashtagging “There Is Hope”.

Spade passed away on June 6. According to BBC News, police are treating the death as a suicide. The fashion designer was a revered figure in the industry. In 1993, she co-founded Kate Spade Handbags with husband, Andy Spade. 25 years later, there are more than 300 outlets around the world. Kate Spade sold her brand in 2007. In 2016, Kate changed her surname to “Valentine”.
