Funny man Michael McIntyre was recently robbed at knifepoint. The comedian was leaving his Range Rover with his son when thieves smashed a window with a hammer and made off with his £15,000 Rolex watch. The entire incident lasted around ten seconds, and a video of the event has now surfaced online. At one point during the footage, you can see what seems to be a blade.
Naturally, the incident shocked McIntyre. During the robbery, he tried to use his phone but dropped it on the floor. When the thieves escaped on a moped, the comedian turned to comfort his 10-year-old son. Despite several witnesses, no one could jump in to help Michael in time. According to BBC News, the incident occurred at 2 pm on Monday in Hampstead, London.
The performer has apparently shaken off the incident without too much harm. He is back on stage tonight in Dublin and reportedly even joked that he might not make the show on time because he had to get a new watch.
Several other robberies by thieves on mopeds have been reported in the capital over recent days.
