CELEBRITY Kevin spacey

If anything proves just how powerful the #MeToo era is, it is Kevin Spacey going from Hollywood legend to defamed disaster. The actor who was repeatedly accused of sexual assault and misconduct released a film that was an utter flop.

Spacey's film ‘Billionaire Boys Club’ earned a whopping (USD)$126 during its opening day. If the film continues to perform this way, it will be the worst of the actor's career—by a long shot. Cue the sad sounds of the smallest violin being played.

In October 2017, Spacey was accused of sexually assaulting 14-year-old 'Star Trek: Discovery' actor Anthony Rapp. Since then, over 20 people from both the U.S. and the UK have accused Spacey of similar actions.

Spacey's downfall from the entertainment industry has been swift. First, Netflix fired the actor from his role on 'House of Cards,' then he was axed from his leading role in 'All The Money In The World' his part was re-cast and re-shot, Spacey's publicist and talent agency cut all ties with the star, and now, audiences (or lack thereof) have shown their true feelings about the accused actor.

'Billionaire Boys Club' currently holds an 11% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and is on course to be a resounding failure.
