CELEBRITY Celebrity big brother
What is 'Celebrity Big Brother' without controversy. Just ask Roxanne Pallett, who has landed in hot water after some allegedly "manipulative" behaviour. So what went down? Pallett accused fellow contestant Ryan Thomas of punching her. The act seemed pretty playful, but Roxanne wanted Ryan off the show, even asking the show's bosses why he hadn't been kicked off.
It didn't stop there. Pallett also requested she sleep in a different room to Ryan, claiming that she didn't feel safe. Eventually, she left the show on her own accord, returning to her presenting job with Minster FM.
Pallett even showed up to 'Jeremy Vine' to apologise to Ryan. "I got it wrong", she said.
She also excused her behaviour by saying that she had previously been in an abusive relationship, which caused her to react to the playful punch in such an extreme manner.
"I massively apologise to not just Ryan but to his family, his friends, his fans, every single person that watched that..."

However, certain viewers don't think Pallett should get away with "punchgate". Many 'CBB' fans have hopped on Twitter, campaigning for Pallett to be dropped by the radio station.
Just caught the Roxanne Pallett “apology”..all I heard was “I” “I” “I” “Me” “Me” “Me” with no sincerity. A PR stunt to exercise damage limitation....too little far too late.

However, some came to her defence.
A tiny woman is hit by a man walking past her (there was no play fight) for no reason. A bloke who works out daily and yet she is in the wrong? He may not have intended hurting her, but why is hitting her OK and somehow her fault? #roxannepallett

Kelvin Fletcher, who played Pallett's on-screen husband Kelvin Fletcher, took to Twitter to call her "manipulative".
She’s not ‘mentally ill’ or in need of ‘help’. That denounces that people with actual mental health issues are as vindictive and menacing as her. They are not. There is a big difference. That was calculated and manipulative beyond belief. Ryan ❤️

Another co-star, Sammy Winward, also gave her two cents.

What do you think? Was it all a big misunderstanding? Or does Pallett deserve to be fired?
