Country star Carrie Underwood has been a pillar of the entertainment industry since her debut on 'American Idol.' She has built a successful career around her powerful ballads and infectious charm, however, Underwood is now is sharing a personal side of her life audiences have never seen before.

During an interview with 'CBS Sunday Morning,' Underwood revealed that she has suffered from three miscarriages in two years while trying to conceive her second child. She discussed how the trauma affected her and her husband Mike Fisher. "In the beginning, it was like, 'OK, God, we know this...just wasn't your timing. And that is all right. We will bounce back and figure our way through it.'" But after the third miscarriage, "it was just kind of like, okay, what's the deal?" Underwood said.

Despite her family's loss, Underwood discussed how she was able to remain positive. “I have this amazing life," she said. "Like, really, what can I complain about? I can't. I have an incredible husband, incredible friends, an incredible job, an incredible kid. Can I be mad? No. And I got mad."

Despite the long stressful journey, Underwood and Fisher are currently pregnant and anxiously awaiting the birth of their second child. The star even posted a photo of her growing baby bump on Instagram.
