Emmy-winner Alex Borstein re-wore her wedding dress on the red carpet

Proving that you can absolutely wear your wedding dress twice, actress Alex Borstein was the hit of the 70th Annual Emmy Awards re-wearing her 20-year-old gown.
The 'Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star' took home the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy, and was easily one of the nights brightest stars. On the pre-show gold carpet, Borstein explained her fashion choice saying, "The marriage didn't last, but the dress did, and I wanted to give it new life."

The star stepped it up a notch when she took the stage to collect her Emmy award. Throwing off the top part of her dress, Borstein danced her way to the stage and said, "I went without a bra." She continued to give audiences the empowered statement everyone wanted to here."What a platform. Ladies, when you use a public restroom, sit down. If you sit, we can all sit. Stop peeing on the seat,” she joked.
She may have not been the bride, but Alex Borstein was easily the lady of the night at the 70th Annual Emmy Awards.
