Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen have exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony attended by their 'Love Island' co-stars. The ceremony, which was attended by 98 people, took place in Gosfield Hall in Essex.

The couple are the first from 'Love Island' to get hitched, and their co-star, Gabby Allen, was in attendance at the wedding.

The newlyweds described the day as "perfect", and said they burst into tears when they first saw each other.

Other lavish details included the groom arriving by helicopter, an eight-tier wedding cake, and a prosecco van. The couple then spent their wedding night in the Rococco Bridal Suite, in the fantastic 16th century country house.

Though it seems the couple have found their fairy tale ending after a whirlwind romance on the reality TV show, it wasn't always smooth-sailing. Alex was embroiled in controversy after sleeping with former Miss GB, Zara Holland, on his first night in the 'Love Island' villa. The incident led to Zara being stripped of her crown.

Who will be the next 'Love Island' couple to get married? Well winners from 2016, Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey, are also engaged, and this year's dream couple, Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham are also reportedly planning their own wedding.
