As if last week's controversial 'Saturday Night Live' appearance were not enough, rapper Kanye West continues to raise more than a few eyebrows, this time for planning to meet with US President Donald Trump later in the week.
According to The New York Times, the musician is set to visit the White House on Thursday for a lunch with POTUS, over which they'll discuss ways to increase manufacturing jobs in Chicago, where the artist is from.
He will also meet with Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, to talk about employment opportunities for ex-convicts.
This isn't the first time the rapper has met with his pal. Back in 2016, upon winning the election, the musician showed up at the Trump Tower in New York City and posed for pictures with the newly elected president.
Since then, West has consistently and outspokenly supported Trump including by wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat out in public, referring to the controversial president as his "brother," and most recently on 'SNL' where he went on a pro-Trump rant postshow.
