The pop star and 'Saturday Night Live' cast member have called off their engagement, according to TMZ. It seems like the breakup, which took place this past weekend, was mutual, with a source saying they both felt like it was just not the right time.
The two stars shocked the public after taking part in a whirlwind romance and engagement back in June, after having only officially dated for a month. Davidson proposed to Grande with a ring that cost nearly US$100,000.
It may not be much of a surprise, however. The singer has had a rough couple of years, most recently with the death of her former rapper boyfriend, Mac Miller, whom she dated for two years.

She skipped the 2018 Emmys this year, after which her team released a statement announcing she'd be taking some much needed time off to take care and better herself.
Neither star has officially commented on the matter, however the public eagerly awaits any news.
