CELEBRITY David beckham

The former Manchester United player and Spice Girl turned fashion designer have been married for almost two decades, but not without their fair share of trials and tribulations.

The Beckhams have constantly been the target of divorce rumours, but David Beckham has finally opened up about their union, admitting that it's "hard work" and is becoming increasingly more complicated.

All the buzz about their marriage was only heightened when Victoria Beckham was recently quizzed about their marriage in a Vogue spread which failed to include her husband and yet included all her kids.

The father of four appeared on the Australian TV show 'The Sunday Project,' to tell his own side of things. He confessed, "To have been married for the amount of time that we have, it's always hard work," the Mirror reports.

With four children and the entire family under the scrutiny of the public, it's no surprise that they've faced struggles in their relationship.

Beckham also spoke about how he's learned that "it's the little things that make the biggest difference," particularly in reference to his children. Perhaps when you have all that money and success, the little things start to seem more admirable.

The star also revealed he has only "one regret in life," but you'll have to watch the show to find out what that is.

Not to worry, though, as Posh stresses in her Vogue interview that she and her husband are used to blocking out the gossip and "nonsense," and that they both know they're stronger together.

Campo obrigatório
