Boston University student Chris Sumlin has perhaps one of the more impressive resumes in comparison to most university students and other graduates.
With two published books under his belt, one might assume that landing a job following school would be a cinch for the young 24-year-old. But much to Sumlin's dismay, this just wasn't the case. Never mind getting the gig—Sumlin wasn't even getting to the interview stage.
That is until Sumlin had the brilliant idea to tweak his resume and add one minor detail to his CV: Retweeted by Kim Kardashian West for impressive work in graduate school.
Last year, the reality television star tweeted at the grad student for his analysis on the media mogul and her video game.

Sumlin stated that following the change, he was able to secure three job interviews in under a week, which naturally he tweeted about and received yet another response from the businesswoman wishing him luck!
Oh y’all already know I had to add that @KimKardashian wished me luck on my job search. I’m definitely gonna get hired now. pic.twitter.com/iSUzjsvE7B
