Dua Lipa is being criticized for her new fashion collaboration with the brand Nyden. The buzz about the star's brand began when she took to Instagram to share the news that she would be dropping four different lines in the near future.

“My first love is music, but fashion also plays an important role in my life because I believe it’s so vital to self-expression,” Lipa wrote on Instagram. “I look for clothes that reflect strength and fearlessness, but also match up to today’s fast pace.”

When the announcement was made, fans began to bombard the star with questions about her debut into fashion. When one user asked if the collection would be unisex, the pop star said, "Yes what I’ve wanted to do with this collection is so that its universal and accessible for everyone.”

Following this tweet, another fan asked if the line would be size inclusive, and in a now-deleted post, Lipa revealed that it would only go up to US size 14—which is not considered to be catering to plus-sized shoppers. Lipa then received a wave of criticism for claiming it was "universal."
