The only thing better than pasta is lots of cheese, and the only thing better than both cheese and pasta is a huge wheel of cheese with a lot of pasta in it. And the only thing that could ever top that is if it were all set on fire.
If that sounds appealing to you, you’re in luck! Posta Italbar is a new restaurant in Port Credit, located just outside of Toronto’s downtown core, which serves traditional Italian food with a contemporary and innovative flare (nonnas and nonnos will approve). Its most interesting dish? Pasta served in a flaming wheel of parmigiano cheese.
The restaurant's menu boasts a rotating range of classics like pasta, pizza, and risotto, all inspired by the vast regions of Italy, and all made in-house from scratch. They also have a certified sommelier on-hand to guide you through their extensive all-Italian wine list. And they serve brunch!
If your heart is set on the famous flaming cheese wheel pasta, make sure to bring someone with you, as the dish is recommended for two. The gorgeous waterfront location, outdoor bar, and elegant yet comfortable décor make the restaurant the perfect place to take someone special, and the flaming dish will definitely get those sparks flying.
