The creators of a popular Facebook account have spoken out about their abominable food creations. Andy Simionas and Josh Vasquez are behind YumFeed, a page that pokes fun at food pages like Tasty and Cooking Panda. They went viral in 2016, after posting a tutorial on how to make watermelon pizza. The video has received 12,000 reactions, 43,000 shares, and nearly four million views. The comment section is filled with disgusted critics, like Kelsey Kallmyer. The user commented “Whose f****** terrible idea was this it looks disgusting and is an abomination to the name pizza ew seriously rethink your choices”. Other foul foods include booze butter and mozzarella milkshake. But why would you cook such a thing?
“We were trying to come up with some kind of project while scrolling through Facebook when we found a dumb little food video that had more views that I’ll ever get in my lifetime”, Simionas told Munchies. “I put my heart and soul into film projects and no one watches them, but these short videos get millions. That callout is how YumFeed was born”. The page has amassed nearly 40,000 followers and countless more viewers. For the most disgusting cookery lessons on the internet, like YumFeed on Facebook.
