What is Google Arts & Culture?
The app that matches your face to famous works of art
With the goal of allowing users to admire famous artwork at their fingertips and find local museums, Google Arts & Culture is the newest addition to the Google app family.
However, its recent additional feature is what is making it one of the highest app downloads in recent weeks. Curious as to what famous painting is your doppelgänger? If you weren't before, you surely are now.
The look-alike feature on the app allows users to upload a photo of themselves, and using facial recognition, it pairs you with a portrait. People have found the results to be hilariously accurate.
To find yours, first, download the app in either Google Play or the iTunes store. Then scroll down the main page until you find "Is your portrait in a museum?" Take your best selfie, then watch as you are paired with the artwork you most resemble, as well as the percentage of accuracy.
