James Ivory made history on Oscar night. At 89 years old, the writer and filmmaker became the oldest ever Oscar winner. He accepted the award for best adapted screenplay for ‘Call Me By Your Name’. The Bristol artist hand-painted the shirt. Unfortunately for fans, it’s a one-off custom shirt made especially for Ivory. “It’s quite a brave thing to wear something so different - especially to the Oscars”, Mania told BBC News>
