Amy Poehler is set to direct her first film
'Wine Country' will be a Netflix Original

Netflix announced that writer and actor, Amy Poehler, will be releasing her directorial debut through the streaming platform. Titled 'Wine Country,' the film will follow a group of longtime friends as they reunite for a wine-tasting trip.
Tweeting a teaser video of the Saturday Night Live veteran cast, Netflix said, "It's happening—Amy Poehler's directorial debut, Wine Country, is coming soon to Netflix! Starring Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer, Paula Pell, Maya Rudolph, Emily Spivey and featuring Tina Fey. Get excited. Get real excited."

The video is of the actors hanging out in a casual setting singing karaoke. Aside from the fact that they are obviously well-known celebrities, the group actually looks like a bunch of longtime friends. With Poehler taking the lead, an iconic cast to follow, and an abundance of wine-induced comedy, 'Wine Country' is sure to be the next big hit.
Netflix has yet to reveal an official release date.
