MOVIES The muppets
Forget everything you once thought about 'The Muppets,' because the latest film of the franchise is anything but child-friendly. 'The Happytime Murders' stars Melissa McCarthy alongside the puppets—and they're up to no good. Featuring sex, drugs, and violence, this upcoming film delves into what happens when a brutal killer is after the puppet stars.
Directed by Brian Henson, the son of Muppets creator Jim Henson, the idea for this film has been stuck in development for over a decade and is now finally being released.
According to the trailer description, 'The Happytime Murders' is a "filthy comedy set in the seedy underbelly of Los Angeles where puppets and humans coexist." Seeing your favorite characters in a whole new light, this film is "No Sesame. All Street."
