This winter, ‘Suspiria’ will be the film on everybody’s lips. Starring Tilda Swinton and Dakota Johnson, the film follows an American newcomer at a revered ballet school in Germany. It’s directed by Luca Guadagnino, the Italian auteur behind ‘Call Me By Your Name’. He made it his mission to reboot ‘Suspiria’, which originally hit screens back in 1977. The film will be released in November this year, and despite being an Italian-American production, ‘Suspiria’ has a good helping of British talent.
Oscar-winner Tilda Swinton will star as Madame Blanc, a stern vice-directress that can’t quite be trusted. Rising star Mia Goth will also light up screen as Sara, a mysterious student at the ballet academy.
Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke is the film’s secret weapon. He has composed the soundtrack, which features eerie strings and heart-racing rhythms. If you're after a chilling horror film this winter, look no further than 'Suspiria'.
