For those who are still haunted by red balloons and rain gutters, 'IT: Chapter 2' may not be the film for you. Andy Muschietti, the director behind the hit horror franchise, gave Comic-Con goers a sneak peek at the upcoming sequel—and it's scarier than ever before.
'Chapter 2' is set 27 years after the horrific events of the first film left off. So this film will see members of the Losers Club are all grown up and fulfilling their pact to defeat Pennywise the Clown.
The all-star cast includes Jessica Chastain (Bev), James McAvoy (Bill), Jay Ryan (Ben), Bill Hader (Richie), James Ransone (Eddie), Andy Bean (Stan), and of course, Bill Skarsgård playing It.
One Comic-Con goer tweeted, "A bunch of peeks at Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise looking exactly as he did before: creepy as hell! Andy Muschietti says the sequel will be “scarier and more intense” and that we should wear adult diapers to the theater. #ScareDiego @joblocom."
