Elton John has announced an exciting new compilation album. ‘Revamp’ will feature artists such as Sam Smith, Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Ed Sheeran, and Florence + the Machine. The artists will reinterpret John’s songs with close collaborator Bernie Taupin. John said “It's always a huge compliment when an artist loves your song enough to take the time and effort to rework it”, as reported by BBC News. John added that “as songwriters, Bernie and myself are thrilled when singers we admire and respect… chose to add their own unique twist”.

Ed Sheeran will take on the ‘Candle in the Wind’ for ‘Revamp’. Florence will cover ‘Tiny Dancer’, while Sam Smith will put his spin on ‘Daniel’. Lady Gaga will rework ‘Your Song’, and Queens of the Stone Age will cover ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’ to close out the record. Elton John is currently on the road for the ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour.
