Sharing multiple photos and short videos of sketches of possible band mates and drawings of rats, Armstrong is getting the message out to fans quickly. The artist also linked to a new profile with the bio, "The Longshot New album 'Love is for Losers' coming eventually sooner or later. Probably sooner."
This is not the first side project for Armstrong. The musician has worked with other groups such as Pinhead Gunpowder, The Network, and the Foxboro Hottubs, though none of which reached nearly the same level of acclaim as Green Day.
In addition to the new group, according to NME, an HBO adaptation of Green Day's famous comeback album 'American Idiot' is well in the works.
