Check out 'Sky Full Of Song'
"This was a song that just fell out of the sky fully formed,” Welch said in a press release about the band's single. She explains how the song in many ways is the summation of her touring experience, fame, and the, ”[city] without seasons,” aka Los Angeles. “Sometimes when you are performing you get so high, it’s hard to know how to come down,” she says. “There is this feeling of being cracked open, rushing endlessly outwards and upwards, and wanting somebody to hold you still, bring you back to yourself. It’s an incredible, celestial, but somehow lonely feeling.”
The peaceful guitar and Welch's whimsically layered voice are in fine form in this sure to be Florence + The Machine hit. You can check out the video on YouTube here. Though it has not been confirmed, audiences believe this single may be the first taste of a future album from the band. 'Sky Full Of Song' will be also released on a limited-edition double A-side 7" vinyl.
