Beginning their European tour in Dublin, Ireland, The Rolling Stones gave yet another performance for the history books. As the band's first time back to Ireland since 2007, and their first time at Dublin’s Croke Park, the rock 'n' roll legends played 19 of their top hits.
Mick Jagger took the mic to address the crowd, saying, “Hello Ireland, hello Dublin. Dia Dhaoibh a chairde (hello my friends). It’s great to be here in Croker for the first time.” Jagger on vocals, Keith Richards on guitar and backing vocals, Charlie Watts on the drums, and Ronnie Wood supplying the bass, together they form one of the most iconic bands in music history.
Opening with 'Sympathy for the Devil' and finishing with the fan favorite '(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction,' there is no doubt that The Rolling Stones know how to put on a show. One Twitter user may have said it best by writing, "They first played Dublin in 1965 and still dance around like teenagers - total and utter legends."
