Did The Weeknd just fire shots at Drake's secret baby in his new song?
This definitely goes against the Canadian code of conduct

Last year was quite the ride for Toronto rapper Drake, who was publicly accused of hiding his child by Pusha T, who sustained a long and painful feud with Kanye West, and who dropped an album that many people argued was 25 songs too long—all on top of actually having to be a father. But it seems his secret child is not quite out of the spotlight yet.
Fellow Toronto-born artist The Weeknd dropped a new song with French producer Gesaffelstein on January 10 called 'Lost in the Fire,' and one of the lyrics has fans speculating that the artist is hopping on the diss-Drake-bandwagon.
According to ET, many lyric sites have quoted a line from the song to be, "And I just want a baby with the right one / ‘Cause I could never be the one to hide one."
The internet exploded with the news, with fans claiming it might referencing Drake's secret child fathered with former adult actress Sophie Brussaux in October 2017.
Despite it being far too easy of a shot for The Weeknd, and completely un-Canadian, the Twitter reactions are highly entertaining.

"Drake vs The Weeknd is pretty much a Canadian civil war," one user wrote.

Fortunately, according to Apple Music, the lyric in question is not "I would never be the one to hide one," but rather, "I would never be the one to hurt one," so everyone can put away their flares.
While the artists' labels—Drake's OVO and The Weeknd's XO—have had a healthy feud in the past, and despite several instances of actual shade being thrown between the top dogs of Toronto, the two have put things behind them and even performed together onstage many times. The news of Drake's baby is officially old, having rapped extensively about it last year on his own song 'March 14,' and hopefully fans will have more faith in The Weeknd to not have to resort to digging up stale drama in his fresh tracks.
