Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak: 'Leave the Door Open' -

In February 2021, Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak officially joined forces to form the super duo Silk Sonic, and one month later they debuted their first single on TV, performing 'Leave the Door Open' at the 2021 Grammy Awards. Not too shabby for a group's first show... Their retro R&B track was accompanied with a '70s-style performance fit with burnt orange suits and smooth choreography, and obviously the 2022 Grammys proved it was a hit.

Elton John's album 'The Lockdown Sessions' -

Sir Elton John could likely collaborate with any musician he wanted to, and over 2021 he did! John released a studio album titled 'The Lockdown Sessions' in October 2021 which features 16 songs, each collaborating with at least one other artist. The majority are with the hottest young stars like Lil Nas X, Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa, and Nicki Minaj. He also teamed up with some other legends including Stevie Nicks and Stevie Wonder.

Billie Eilish and Rosalía: ‘Lo Vas A Olvidar’ -

Billie Eilish and Rosalía are two of the most successful female artists in the world right now. They started working on a track together back in March 2019, and almost two years later, they released it: ‘Lo Vas A Olvidar,' along with a music video. It also featured on an episode of HBO’s ‘Euphoria,’ mixing in some starpower from actresses Zendaya and Hunter Schafer too.

Britney Spears and the Backstreet Boys: 'Matches' -

Britney Spears joined forces with the Backstreet Boys for her song 'Matches,' which was released as part of the deluxe edition of her 2016 album 'Glory.' The long overdue collaboration between two of the definitive artists from the late 1990s and early 2000s is exactly what you'd expect.
