It's official, Taylor Swift just can't help but write about her love life. At a concert in Chicago, the singer opened up about her motivation behind her 'Reputation' album and how what began as a different style for her turned out to be just as relationship-focused as the rest of Swift's discography.

“[I] think there was a bit of a bait-and-switch that happened with his album when we put out ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ and we’re like, ‘Guys, this album is gonna be one thing.’ And when the album came out, it’s legitimately an album about finding love throughout all the noise,” Swift said, according to Hollywood Life.

While Swift didn't name her certain someone's name, fans knew she was talking about her boyfriend Joe Alwyn who she has been seeing since late 2016.

Swift continued to explain that, “If you can find something real in spite of a bad reputation, then isn’t that what matters the most to you? And doesn’t it matter the most to you that you know who your real friends are now?”

Luckily, Taylor Swift's fans wouldn't have the artist any other way. Currently, on her Reputation World Tour, the star will continue touring the states until October, then will head to Australia.
