Prudhomme's Landing - Once one of the biggest recreation and entertainment venues in Ontario, Prudhomme's Landing hosted bumper boats, bumper cars, go-karts, roller skating, putting greens, a haunted house, and a water park.

Prudhomme's Landing - The park was on the shore of Lake Ontario in Jordan, near St. Catharines, and closed in 2000. Two huge fires ravaged the site in 1967 and 1971. Where there was once as many as 7,000 guests per day, there are now none.

Sunnyside Amusement Park - Also known as Sunnyside Beach Park, this park was a popular attraction in Toronto. It was situated at the foot of Roncesvalles Avenue, just west of the downtown core.

Sunnyside Amusement Park - The park featured a bathing pavilion, a tea garden, and a few rides like the popular Sunnyside Flyer.

Sunnyside Amusement Park - Now the only relics of the park are the Sunnyside Bathing Pavilion, and the Palais Royale buildings. Not creepy, but very cool!

Crystal Beach Amusement Park - This park occupied the Fort Erie, Ontario waterfront from 1888 until its closure in 1989. Few relics remain, as the area is now a highly developed gated community.

Dominion Park - Montreal's Dominion Park opened way back on June 2, 1906.

Dominion Park - The park was situated between Notre-Dame Street and the Saint Lawrence River. One of its main features was an early version of a water slide.

Crystal Palace Amusement Park - This New Brunswick amusement park was once the biggest tourism draw for the province. It opened in 1990 and closed only four years ago in 2014.

Belmont Park - It featured a wooden roller coaster, a ferris wheel, picnic grounds, swimming pool, dance hall, and "Kiddieland."

Belmont Park - Belmont shut down shortly after a police raid, which may or may not have been motivated by City Hall's displeasure at the privately owned park taking business away from the city-owned park, La Ronde.

Ontario Place - Ontario Place was an entertainment and exhibition complex in Toronto that opened in 1971 and operated annually during the summer.

Ontario Place - Three artificially constructed islands were built to house the facility (one for open-air concerts, and two for the amusement park and exhibitions), but the Cinesphere geodesic dome IMAX theatre, the first permanent IMAX theatre, is the greatest remaining relic.

Ontario Place - Now the ghosts of theme parks past roam the abandoned space. Or at least until the facility undergoes its transformation into a year-round multiple-use facility and everyone rushes back to the waterfront site.

Pyramid Place - This Niagara Falls theme park opened in 1979 and operated for only five seasons. The main attractions were the ferris wheel, a giant slide, an IMAX theatre, and the Kid's Place, which was a sort of jungle gym with cargo nets and people dressed as cartoons.

Pyramid Place - The Kid's Place was lost to a fire, and the Pyramid Place park went bankrupt and shut its doors in 1983. The biggest remaining relic is the pyramid IMAX theatre, which miraculously survived the fire even though it was right next door to the Kid's Place.
