Alan Carr will cameo in soap series ‘Hollyoaks’, the show’s producers have announced. Pictures of the chatty man hit social media in a series of posts on Twitter and Instagram. Carr was pictured in Chester, where ‘Hollyoaks’ is set, along with his two Irish setter dogs Joyce and Bev. Carr was filming for ‘Crufts Extra’, a programme that focuses on the world famous dog show. Clare Balding presents the show and will also cameo in ‘Hollyoaks’.
Carr will have a non-speaking role in the episode, which will air in spring. In one Instagram post, the comedian was seen posing with the show’s stars Alex Fletcher, Haiesha Mistry, and Kieron Richardson. In the group picture, Carr wears a black wig, thick-rimmed glasses and a fake handlebar mustache.
As well as ‘Alan Carr: Chatty Man’, Carr is set to host two shows in 2018. He will appear in ‘The Remote Controller’ and ‘I Don’t Like Mondays’, due out later this year.
