Jemini (2003) - Remember when Britain was the only country to get zero points? Yes, we'd rather forget it too!

Scooch (2007) - Their Britney Spears-like costumes did little to impress European voters. They came 22nd place in the contest held in Finland in 2007.

Engelbert Humperdinck (2012) - He was the opening act for 'Eurovision' in 2012, but that was not enough to win over the continent. Humperdinck came in at 25th place out of 27 competing countries in 2012.

Gina G (1996) - 1996 was the year that Australian singer Gina G represented Britain, and she didn't do that bad. She bagged 8th spot among 23 entries.

Daz Sampson (2006) - Sampson and his song 'Teenage Life' was one of the most cringe-worthy British representations, according to The Telegraph. He landed 19th place in the final.

Josh Dubovie (2010) - It was Dubovie's "off-key" performance that put him last place in the contest in 2010.

Blue (2011) - Remember when Blue went to Eurovision? Everyone was optimistic, but they still came in 11th.

Andy Abraham (2008) - Former 'The X Factor' contestant failed to charm Europe in 2008 and finished joint last place.

Kenneth McKellar (1966) - McKellar came 9th place out of 18 entries in 1966. Not bad for 'A Man Without Love'!

Samantha Janus (1991) - Janus sang in 'Eurovision' way before she became a household name in 'EastEnders'. In 1991 she sang 'A Message to Your Heart' and came in at 10th place.

Matt Monro (1964) - He was a big name in the 60s and 70s and often referred to as "the man with the golden voice". He also represented Britain in 1964 singing 'I Love the Little Things', which scooped second place.

Frances Ruffelle (1994) - Tony Award-winner Frances Ruffelle represented the British Isles in 1994 with Lonely Symphony (We Will Be Free)'. Out of the 25 entries, she landed in 10th place.

Bonnie Tyler (2013) - The 70s songstress represented Britain in 2013, but her performance only made it into 19th place. But she doesn't need Europe's approval anyway, right?

Jade Ewen (2009) - The former Sugababes member took to the 'Eurovision' stage in 2009 with 'It's My Time'. She came in at 5th place and was the second act to make it into the top 5 in the last decade.

Lucie Jones (2017) - Another former 'The X Factor' contestant who took to the European stage! Her song 'Never Give Up on You' came in at 15th place.

Joe and Jake (2016) - They auditioned on 'The Voice UK' as solo acts but left the contest as a duo, and entered 'Eurovision' together n in 2016. The boys landed 24th place, three spots away from last.

The Allisons (1961) - Also coming in at second place in the final competition were pop duo The Allisons and their song 'Are You Sure?'.

Electro Velvet (2015) - Remember them? This duo also came in at 24th place in the competition a year before. Their song 'Still in Love with You' failed to make an impression on EU voters.

Molly (2014) - Molly Smitten-Downes sang 'Playing With Numbers' in 2014 and came in at 17th place.

Bryan Johnson (1960) - Earning his second place in the contest in 1960 was Bryan Johnson singing 'Looking High, High, High'.

Javine Hylton (2005) - If you are struggling to remember her, don't worry, you're not alone. Javine Hylton sang 'Touch My Fire' in 2005 and landed in 22nd place.

James Fox (2004) - James Richard Mullet, professionally known as James Fox, is a Welsh singer who represented the UK in 2004 with his song 'Hold On to Our Love'. He made it to 16th place.

Ronnie Carroll (1962 & 1963) - Ronnie Carroll's songs 'Ring-A-Ding Girl' and 'Say Wonderful Things' were voted in 4th place in 1962 and 1963. There were only 16 countries competing at the time!

Kathy Kirby (1965) - Kirby was believed to be the highest-earning artist of her time. In 1965 she sang 'I Belong' in 'Eurovision' and bagged second place.

Mary Hopkin (1970) - Folk singer Mary Hopkins from Wales came in at second place in 1970 with her song 'Knock, Knock Who's There?'.

Clodagh Rodgers (1971) - The Northern Irish singer and actress represented the British Isles in 1971. She came in second place with her song 'Jack in the Box'.

The New Seekers (1972) - The world-famous pop group competed in 'Eurovision' singing 'Beg, Steal or Borrow' in 1972 and bagged second place. Another almost-win!

The Shadows (1975) - Cliff Richard's former backing group took to the European stage in 1975 with their song 'Let Me Be the One'. They also came in second place, out of 19 countries.

Patricia Bredin (1957) - How could we forget, Bredin was the first artist to represent Britain in the first 'Eurovision' ever! Out of the 10 competing countries, Bredin came in at 7th place.

Sandie Shaw (1967) - The best for last! Remember when Britain won 'Eurovision' for the first time? Shaw's barefoot performance of "Puppet on a string" brought the trophy home in 1967!
