Lucy-Jo Hudson is an established actress on the soap circuit. She has previously appeared in ‘Coronation Street’ and ‘Doctors’. Her performance in the latter won her Villain of the Year at the 2017 British Soap Awards. She will play Donna-Marie, described as a "reckless woman" in 'Hollyoaks'. The other new arrivals are relatively inexperienced. Owen Warner, who will play Donna-Marie's son Romeo in the soap, only graduated last year and the role will be his TV debut. Jessamy Stoddart has performed in stage productions of ‘Wicked’ and ‘Les Misérables’ and David Tag has previously appeared in ‘Emmerdale’ and ‘The Damned United’.
