Stirrup Cups - When he saw 12 silver stirrup cups, presenter Alastair Dickenson said “this possibly one of the best days I've ever had on any Antiques Roadshow“. The cups were given to hunters before they went on a hunt. They were valued at £150,000.

Wartime pigeon memorabilia - Dickin Medals are the animal equivalent of a Victoria Cross. They were given to pigeons, dogs and horses too. A collection of wartime pigeon memoribilia, including the dikin medals, were valued between £180,000 and £200,000.

Nelson’s 18th-century sword - A copy of this striking sword was given to Horatio Nelson after the victorious Battle of the Nile. The sword was valued at £200,000.

Bronze racehorse - A bronze racehorse was forged from “very rare bronze by Sir Alfred Munnings”. The horse, Brown Jack, won seven races at Ascot from 1929 to 1934. The model is worth £200,000.

18th Century apothecary desk - This 421-drawer desk was in Lulworth Castle before it made its way to the roadshow. “English furniture of this quality has rocketed and I would be quite comfortable in saying this should be insured for at least £200,000”, said expert Lennox Cato.

Paintings by Beatrix Potter - 23 paintings by Beatrix Potter were brought to the Roadshow in 2003. The owner claimed that Potter was a friend of the family. The collection was valued at £250,000.
